(五種修法, 五种修法)

Five kinds of esoteric ceremonial, i. e.

(1) [lang id =1028]扇底迦 śāntika, for stopping calamities;

(2) [lang id =1028]布瑟徵迦 or [lang id =1028]補瑟徵迦 pauṣṭika, for success or prosperity;

(3) [lang id =1028]阿畏遮迦 abhicāraka, for suppressing, or exorcising;

(4) [lang id =1028]阿羯沙尼 ākarṣaṇī, for calling, or attracting (good beings, or aid);

(5) [lang id =1028]伐施迦囉軌 vaśīkaraṇa, for seeking the aid of Buddhas and bodhisattvas; also [lang id =1028]五部尊法 and cf. [lang id =1028]五種灌頂.
